Riverlands deputy Lucian and his mate committed the unthinkable— they stole two Chernobyl pups. An act of cowardice. Or vengeance. Or both. When the father and leader, Zakhynsky, found out, he retaliated with blood. He murdered two Riverland paladins, but in the end lost his life.

While the Chernobyl pack returned home lost, Aelin Ashwyrd rose. A Premier forged in fury. A ruler who does not forget.
