Whispering Hollows is an 18+ roleplay community based in supernatural fiction and the modern times. Available is thematic writing and thought-provoking narratives, taking real-world concepts and implementing them in ways that makes our fictional-world feel immersive and more engaging, perhaps even a little ‘lived in’ already. Welcomed are any writers, whether they are preferring story with many layers of meaning or more casual.

The supernatural are something that not many people can percept, except those special few that have a connection to the spiritual realm. Your character may be one of them, likely having noticed a spirit before they received a letter. And, while in Whispering Hollows, they will study, help and/or battle spirits on assignments that have been carefully made for the characters involved, providing a unique and fun experience while the overall plot is progressed.

I wanted to share a project I've been working on, born from the idea that everyone needs a place to speak freely without being judged.

I created a Discord server called Confession Corner. It's a simple, judgment-free space for anyone who needs to talk about mental health, share something heavy, or just get a thought out of their head.

To make sure it stays safe and truly anonymous, I built a custom bot with a few key features:

- You can use `/confess` to post something anonymously. No one will know it's you. Or use `/void`, to make a post that deletes itself after 24 hours.
- If you make a post, you can use `/reply` to anonymously reply to comments in your own thread.
- To keep trolls and spam out, there's a quick home-brew captcha verification when you join.
- Machine Learning is currently being implemented to automate the filtering of bogus posts. This is in BETA.

That's it. It's not a replacement for professional help, but I hope it can be a supportive spot for peer-to-peer connection. If you're looking for a quiet place to share, I'd be happy to have you.
