We have all heard it before, several times.

A magical academy, big and influential, producing the most powerful figures of the empire.

But what if that empire is the last stand of a world on its knees, besieged by a corrupting force outside of its barrier? What if this academy was the one keeping said empire together, weaving the fates of several factions by connecting its members, all while imparting the knowledge to adapt into a magical renaissance?

That's the role that CARE takes. The grand Center for Allocation of Research and Education, where everyone is welcome to handpick the courses required to polish their own future, regardless of status or standing.

Offering tracks for those interested in learning...
: ̗̀➛ Wielding of weapons and/or martial arts.
✎▓۵ Research, literature, and management.
⏣-ˋˏ✄ Trade advancement and engineering
༊ೋ Weaving and control of magical aspects.
And also as combinations of the four as needed!

Normally, this is where a regular ad would strike with the "WE OFFER...!", but in Home Away From Home, there's no fancy lists of embellished promises.
What we can promise is that we will do our best to make this into a safe space for roleplayers to write stories they're passionate about together, and we would love to have you be part of that if your interests align!

We only require you to be:
❥ Literate - Capable of writing a bare minimum of two proper paragraphs with adequate grammar.
❥ Respectful
❥ Above 18 years of age
❥ And most importantly; to bring a desire to foster a good community!

We look forward to welcoming you onto our communal safe space, if you'll have us.

Site-06, nestled within the edges of the state of Louisiana. Next to a small town known to be a hotspot for supernatural activity, a capital for the anomalous. A town haunted by the ghosts of its pasts, creatures that exist far beyond the preternatural senses that one would have. It is why they are to placed right here. Next to this town, under the noses of the people who reside here. Watching... Waiting, listening to every single move that one would think to take. There will never be a moment, where the town will leave the eyes of the foundation. An ever present force, a force unable to be challenged... All hiding under a veil of secrecy.

Erath has fallen victim to unexplained disappearances, families torn apart as their sons and daughters malform into something that they are not. A creature of the night, a vengeful spirit. Or perhaps... Something more incomprehensible, something sinister. The supposed heroes are no exception to the... Lesser side. There is a reason why the site, among the anomalous is called "CAEDES" as it is... The Slaughter.

The world of Arcanis is built upon its vast expanse of terrains, each housing a multitude of different species and wildlife. Many of these regions contain secrets that are up to any adventurer to unveil. Arcanis houses dungeons that travelers can venture out into and obtain great treasures that may aid in one’s quest.

The lands of Arcanis aren’t known only for their environment: factions and settlements have been built in order to gain political standing over Arcanis itself; the growing desire for more land has both caused violent conflict between factions and brought others together.

The choice to become something great is up to anyone willing to pursue it. Many civilians go their entire lives without knowing what lies beyond an ordinary life. But those who strive for greatness? They can go beyond the boundaries of what has been set.

Welcome to Spearledge, a city in the New York state where everything also happens! Founded in 1839, Spearledge was originally built as a railroad but over time, grew into a small town and eventually, a decently-sized suburban city. Today, it is known for its metro station, the insane nightlife, and even its population going at around 795,000~. However, beneath the surface lies more than just its beauty, and some of it not-so-pretty... Despite the low living costs in comparison to other big cities, Spearledge is notorious for being rife with a handful of interesting scandals.

However, Spearledge is far more than its flaws. It is known for new beginnings, finding a new romance, its beloved landmarks, or even just having a blast. Anyone going into Spearledge would know one thing, once you come in, your new life begins.

Hello reader, You have been on our radar for a while to get matched. Your fate lies in our hands, and who we match you up with will end up being by your side for the rest of your life. Now this wasn’t the usual. For a long time the city of love solely got its magic on its own. From recent years and what not the government decided to stick their grimey hands on the rules.

For a while now Paris, France has been on an all time low with their population rates, and we need to start matching up the fresh 21 year olds to get our populations back rising. It seems that every other solution has not come to the full potential it could. Of course if you truly can’t stand your partner even after three full months after the date the letter was given to you, you can come back and restart your relationship with another pairing: though you can only do this two times after your first match. Choose carefully. Or force the hand of the High Council.

We hope that you stay while, and find the forever person you want to be with. Perhaps you will find side quests along the way, which kingdom shall you reside in, will your partner be a part of that residential or will you guys have to make leaps and bounds to make it work? Your journey relies on your decisions solely.

An open world Fantasy Roleplay~!

❄️ Tempered Power: IL is a fantasy RP that doesn't quickly become a super hero RP. Each player character is relatively grounded to inspire collaboration with others both IC and OOC. No one here will be playing cosmic time traveling furry demon gods, our magic is akin to Fire Emblem or what you might otherwise find in a standard RPG.

Power comes from working together, not overpowered magic swords and curses for individuals. This is a highly collaborative RP where players can interact in six distinct kingdoms that are fleshed out, yet malleable enough to change by working alongside fellow players to make change happen.

🔥 Characters & Community: Players are encouraged to create diverse lifestyles for each of their characters. We've got an original magic system and a unique take on fantasy races you won't find in most fantasy settings.

Go on adventures, play royal power games, make your own faction, raid villages, maybe summon an eldritch monstrosity, or get your slice of life vibes going by chilling on a country farm or in a city tavern. There is no "main quest", the world of Imperial League is what you and your peers make of it. All plotlines both small and large, personal and global, are welcome!

🌲 Adults Only: The server is for players 18+ ONLY to ensure that all players are mature and **literate.** Writers must have a strong handle of the English language's mechanical and grammatical conventions. While we do allow for ERP, even extensively so, this isn't a server where you merely meet up and fuck people in your DMs. You must be willing to engage with the canon and play in the server.

⚡ Newbies Welcome: We LOVE our newbies and are eager to help them adjust, grow into the community, and bring great new ideas and characters into this shared world of ours. Come on in, dip us in your favorite sauce, and see how delicious Imperial League can truly be 💚

The Looms of Reverie is a 21+ literate fantasy roleplay server set in Lokhara, a realm shaped by gods, demons, and mortals alike.

At the center of Sonera stands the Veytharil, a massive tree tied to the birth of the Devas and the cycle of samsara. And beneath its branches, kingdoms have risen. Arindor, the Manu Kingdom, stands without a king, its jarls fighting for a crown no one has managed to claim. Vey’ndral, the Suryn Kingdom, remains under the rule of High Queen Y’vonna Luthiel-Cassynder, though her husband’s disappearance and growing nationalism threaten the peace she has fought to protect. Velmora, the Rakshyn Kingdom, treads deeper and deeper into the demon realm, with the city of Rys, Lolth’s ward, and the Underdark treading the line between discovery and catastrophe.

Beyond the politics of Sonera, the forces of Neythara continue to spread their influence. Asuras and Danavas offer contracts to the desperate and the naïve, while forbidden knowledge preserved by the Acharya stands to shape the future of the realm.

All plots in TLOR are interactive. Players can influence the lore, unlock new regions, submit official races, build factions, create cities, and even design new races and shop additions. Participation in these features is completely optional, however. Members are free to focus on slice-of-life, ERP, CRP, or anything else that fits within the world!

TLOR offers:

» A 21+ community for literate writers
» Fantasy lore heavily inspired by TES, D&D, and HTTYD with very interactive plots
» Three kingdoms with distinct conflicts and opportunities
» Plot-centric and/or slice-of-life friendly writing
» Player choices that can influence future lore and server development
» OOC shops, rewards, and OC progression
» Unique perks for our lovely boosters!

Whether your character wants to open a bakery, hunt monsters, make a deal with a demon, or compete to become the High King of Sonera, there is room for them in The Looms of Reverie!

Roleplay Central is dedicated to helping writers and roleplayers connect with like minds! Our mission may be to connect people around the world and let their creativity shine, but for the last few years, our Discord has grown into something more.

Our 15+ server offers both one-on-one and group advertisements to help you find your perfect partner, as well as a whole section of writing help channels to encourage you to become the writer you've always wanted to be. We boast useful sources, writer's block busters, and a section to ask your burning writing questions where someone is always around to answer! In addition, we post a daily question to make you think about your characters, your writing style, and how you tackle a story. As a perpetually active server, there's almost always someone around to chat with, bounce ideas off of, or relax from a stressful day.

The Storytellers
Come tell a story with us!

We’re an advance lit, 3rd POV, past tense, play-by-post roleplay community. We write together to bring the world of Cityscape to life, one story at a time!

Through collaborative writing, we weave multi-layered plots that stretch across several group style roleplays. All running alongside each other. Creating an intense and lore rich experience.

Our world of Cityscape is an urban, modern fantasy setting, where the majority of the space is a **mega** metropolis. In this urban sprawl you’ll get the chance to tell stories that traverse various sub genres: crime, slice of life, scifi supernatural, romance, paranormal, dark/gritty. Just to name a few.

---

🔹 We interview all our roleplayers through a 3-step process. To ensure that everyone gets along, and that our standards are maintained.
This will have you interacting with the community, joining our event roleplay, and creating a character.

Our current event roleplay: Moonlit - Starting the new year off with a bang!

It’s been years since the criminal underground was under one ruler. Consequently, a power vacuum formed. Various players have begun to move, and things have started to shake up. In the mix, a series of bombings have happened all across Cityscape Proper.
In the days leading up to NYE the old criminal king sent out invitations to ring in the new year at his establishment, Moonlit! The only neutral ground in all of Cityscape. He hasn’t done this in years!
Do you accept his invitation?!

---

Why should you come join us?

- We are an 18+ community - most of us in our 30s
- A member base that is consistent in both activity and communication.
- Roleplays that have been active for years. We have stood the test of time.
- Our roots take us all the back to 2004. We have now been on discord since 2017!

Traversing the depths of the forest, the world around you begins to shimmer. The very fabric of space and time, of the universe as you know it, wavers and parts, revealing a world unlike your own . . . Here, the trees laugh with the tickle of the breeze, and the will-o'-wisps illuminate hidden grottos with their ethereal glow. A weathered wooden sign welcomes you, its letters worn with age: Evershade.

Within this realm, you'll find:
🌟 Roleplay Ads – A space for storytellers to find partners with which to collaborate.
📖 Biweekly Prompts – Writing prompts to spark creativity and explore new ideas.
🌿 Content Sharing – Forest hollows designed for sharing pieces you're proud of.
👥 A Welcoming Community – A safe, inclusive space where all are valued.

The fae love guests and are always eager to welcome newcomers. Their magic is known to change those who linger, shaping them into something new. Dare you stay and see what lies ahead? 🌌

The lively void we know as the Multiverse, such a vast place. Even us higher-dimensional beings have not catalogued all of existence to designate the Omniverse.

Each universe is linked together by the traversal of the Beyonders: vastly powerful dimensional travelers who sit above the gods despite lacking creation powers, treating existence as if it were one big game.

In the interstice between universes, you find yourself pulled from your home dimension with no apparent way back. Shall you make yourself a new home and be indifferent to the grand scheme of things, or will you give it your all to trace down your home universe, or you might rather unite the universes against the interdimensional tyrants' twisted torturous games... or perhaps, your heart wishes to ascend beyond the Beyonders?

Our server features:
- The ability to submit more than one version of the same canon character. Your favorite character is already claimed? No problem! Just make up an alternate universe/timeline version, or write another profile in your own words, and put a number designation on them!
- Say, it's a multiverse after all, why not explore how would Mario react if he meets Mario?
- What if Goku and Superman team up against the primordial evils lurking in the void beyond?
- May you interpret what a fight between Sephiroth and Darth Vader would be like?
- How would things transpire if Jake the Dog and Satoru Gojo allied against all odds? (Yes, this actually happened in the RP).
- A current amount of 8 original universes from a single mind in a heavily WIP stage, to be fleshed out in the coming years!
- An ever-expanding multiverse, into which you can import your own universes, and pull them out when leaving the place.
