Early morning rises over the horizon of the clans. a soft mist coating the blanket of meadows and treetops, a soft snow sprinkling across the mountain range. The silence was interrupted by the howl of a Fernclan cat. The soft and quiet murmurs and whispers of the clan mates around them seemed to stir them a little. Upon scanning the surroundings and situation, it is found that a Fernclan cat has been killed. Yearning over him his mate, the deputy Dewflower. Her muzzle moves from his head to his paws, finding patches of fur between his claws. She calls out, alerting the rest of the clan that he has been murdered and to find the culprit, even if it means infiltrating the other clans.

Starclan didn't take kindly to the words of the deputy. The weather began to pick up, filling the gully and mass amounts of territory with water, effectively flooding out all of the clans from their respective homes, and clanlife. There was lightning, followed by thunder, all tied together by torrential downpours of rain. to keep the cats from fighting and bringing about war, stop them at the root.

The morning after the flood was quiet. Hollowclan cats mostly intact, however there were some casualties and their clan was completely washed out by mud. Kestrelclans previous clan camp succumbed to a rockslide. Fernclan was no where to be found.
