**In this AU, everyone lives. This server takes place four months after the events of the book. Robert Sheldon nearly died but was found to be alive when the cops arrived. He spent time in a coma as a result of blood loss. However, Johnny Cade and Ponyboy Curtis still ran away thinking he was dead. The events of the book take place just as they do in canon until Johnny "dies". In this AU, Johnny gets recessitated after Dallas Winston runs off. Dallas, thinking Johnny's dead, still robs the grocery store and gets caught by the cops. However, the wounds he sustains were not fatal. Ponyboy and Johnny were not charged with attempted murder, as Cherry Valance testified for them and it was ruled as self defense.**

In the city of New Riviera, crime runs rampant. It’s not due to any fault of the local authorities, but the fault of the criminals themselves. A group who call themselves “The Crew” use the city as their playground, tormenting those whom they see as deserving of punishment. And despite the best efforts of the city’s officials, none of these criminals ever stay down when they’re… disposed of. They always come crawling back from the dead a few days later, no worse for wear, save for a red mark on their skin from whatever killed them last.

These people are called Undyings by most. Stories of them span back for centuries, but the awe and honor they once commanded has dwindled. Many view them as being natural born criminals, despite evidence largely pointing to the contrary. But it has made a simple life rather difficult for anyone who finds themselves to be among the numbers of Undyings.

But even The Crew themselves seem to be doing something to shake off this stereotype. They seem to have a specific sort of target when it comes to what they do. Most of their crimes are carried out against those who are arguably deserving of punishment. And the reports of Crew members protecting innocents or rescuing people from harm are surprisingly abundant.

And yet, a rival group has cropped up. "The Symphony" is raising hell, leaving a bloody trail in their wake. Desperate times are calling for desperate measures, and unlikely team-ups seem to be the best way to survive.

So, why would you not join?

Origin One is the love child created when someone really likes Tower of God, Solo Leveling, and other similar media. The stat system is fairly intuitive, and is primarily calculated by the staff during combat. However, there's no rolling on your part. There's no damage calculations on your part, minus when you take damage. You will be keeping track of your own HP and Stamina.

So, what is Origin One then? It's a server set in a modern scene. With some semi-futuristic aspects. The world was created by Yrva, a Celestial who was interested in seeing what life created by the Celestials would be. In the end giving her life to protect the world of Origin One, she blessed a portion of the population to protect them from the curses of other Celestials. With that Celestial war over, and those events unfolded, there are now towers that appear all over the world. Housing dangerous beasts and creatures that threaten to break out at any point. If they should break out, it could spell doom for the entire area where the tower appeared.

With that in mind, you take the role of an Ascended. From a race of your choosing in the races list, you build your class as you see fit. Or use a pre-existing one. With the duty to take on towers and clear them, so they no longer pose a threat. However, it's entirely possible that you may choose to take another route in life. You might join the underground and make money off of substances, or perhaps you'll just run a business. Whether with your crafting skills or passively. Aspects is a superpowered roleplay server set in LA County. Here, you can play as a hero or villain and fight to save the world, or conquer it. We also allow various kinds of characters, all in a world with an evolving storyline. Question is, in a world increasingly full of superpowered people, what will become of the world itself? Will the world as we know end, or can it be saved and perhaps, changed for the better?
