No massive lore documents. No posting quotas. No minimum word counts. Just people making characters, creating stories, meeting each other, and seeing where things go.

The default setting is modern Earth (and, eventually, outer space for future categories 👀). Normal streets. Normal jobs. Normal everyday life... until something weird shows up.

A door that shouldn't exist. A giant robot. A superhero. A villain from another world. An entire city—or even a country—that suddenly appears on the map. If you have a fun idea, there's probably room for it.

We don't overcomplicate things. Whether you want to write a single line of dialogue or a long scene, both are welcome. This isn't a strictly literate server, and it never will be.

There are plenty of channels—think of them as rooms in a giant house. If you need another one for your story, just ask. Chances are we'll happily make it.

50 years ago, heroes arose as individuals gained abilities beyond human limits. It started with a 7-member hero team led by the great Apex, a man of incredible power and role model to all. However, as they aged, and some died, politics and corporatism infested heroism, transforming heroism into something lacking emotion rather than genuine actions. This was known as The Whiplash. Apex publicly spoke out against this devolving of heroism, but his words fell on deaf ears.Today, heroism is a regulated system requiring licenses. Vigilantes are considered near as bad as villains and are actively hunted. Schools and agencies push their own independent agendas to benefit themselves, and the hero world is split into two major factions:
The Legacy League: The prestigious and corporate descendant of Apex's original team. They control a smaller, highly influential group of heroes who make more money. They even cover accidental damages via paid insurance.
The International Heroes Group: A government-approved and UN funded public organization. They hold a large percentage of heroes and are very regulatory, but pay decently if you follow their strict guidelines. They are highly popular among street tier heroes.
As of right now, heroism is highly split between vigilantes, organized groups, and registered independents.

Echoes in The Rift is a fantasy roleplay server with close knit D&D aspects. The story revolves around what the the players make, allowing for a more free form roleplay with a main story in the background. The server has two roleplay style options. Casual, meant for more chill slice of life stuff. And Adventure, where you mix in questing as well as casual level rp.

This is a new server, and we have a maximum of 10 Kingdoms that we will be accepting into the world. However different Houses and Factions will always be available to make.

We also run a specific Quest experience where anyone can submit a quest and run it, not just a moderator or writer. Giving players more creative freedom to have their own fun without waiting on moderators. Main Scenario Quests will be run by moderators.

Alongside the Rifts, there is rumors floating around that the gods are fading. Dying. Those believing in them hear less and less each passing day, and miracles become few and far between. Some people claim this is a test from the Gods, while others believe the Rifts have something to do with the fading voices of the divine.

Enter the Nameless City: An original character eldritch horror RP that supports OCs from every genre and timeline. Our ever-changing setting exposes your characters to wonders and abominations alike, with literacy requirements to enable quality roleplay ranging from slice-of-life to overarching, server-wide plots.
