As for the actual writings of Holy Grail Wars? Their lore is entirely dictated by you! As more people come into the server, it opens the gates for more Wars to be created so that everyone gets a chance to write! You get to decide everything about them: time, location, if it's a classic 7 Master free for all or a 7v7 war like Apocrypha, you even get to decide what plots you want for the war that ensues. Everything about them is for the participants to decide!

𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒈𝒐...

High up in the clouds, there was a beautiful, prosperous kingdom ruled by a kind and benevolent queen. This kingdom had the help of powerful dragon that kept it's citizens safe and happy. Over time the kingdom would gain new leadership that would grow less kind to their citizens and would use the dragons powers selfishly. The kingdoms sages feared what their home was becoming and the dragons power so they decided to try and stop it. They took 8 stars and used them to absorb the dragons powers. The dragon then fell into a dreamless sleep, with the dragon asleep their kingdom unfortunately fell into despair and ruin. It's said that if all 8 stars are used the dragon can be awakened once again and the summoner will be able to use its power to usher in an era of peace. However if the one who summons the dragon is someone who lacks a courageous or pure heart they'll be corrupted by the dragons power and it will destroy everything. To prevent this from happening they scattered the 8 stars across the skies with the hopes that they would stay hidden forever.

Bowser and his airship fleet have launched another attack on the mushroom kingdom. The Mario Brothers decided to intercept Bowser and his fleet before they arrived in the kingdom. The ensuing fight ended up jostling the rainbow stars out of their hidden placements in the skies with both parties being unaware of this. The Bro's defeated Bowser and he returned to the Darklands to sulk and plot his next attack. The Mushroom Kingdom is once again safe.

Marvel: Birthrights

In 2053, the world has changed and so have the people who protect it. The heroes of old have retired, starting families of their own. Their children have grown up and begun to take their place within the community.

New heroes are emerging beyond the shadows of legacy. Some join teams, others go solo, carving out their own paths. The Avengers Academy has opened its doors to train young heroes and prepare them for life in the field. Ancient events gave Earth's residents the ability to cast spells and alterations to their very way of life, including physical changes. Watch yourself, however; dark truths lurk every few steps you take, and the richest among Rosemore's residents raise their wine glasses atop mass graves.

Rosemore is an 18+ community with an emphasis on character-building and literacy. In any given scene, writers are expected to write a paragraph **at minimum**, complete with punctuation and standards of grammar. Social channels are compact so as to help lessen overstimulation and better promote a melting pot within "the channel for all". Given the server's status as a 18+ community, writers are free to explore all kinks as it falls under the artistic expression laws.

As a setting, Rosemore aims for the "modern fantasy" feel. You can use elves, fairies, tieflings, centaurs, etc. as a faceclaim and tailor the character to how it all comes together within the setting. The server's combat system, much like the limits of magic, is built on balance and quick rounds rather than powergaming or needing to read pages of rules.
