-It has been a little more than three years since the events of the game ended (putting us in 1495 DR)

-The Tadfool Party and Tav/Durge killed all of the Dead Three’s Chosen

-The cults of Bhaal and Bane still exist, but operate underground and are fractured

-All tadpoles died after the defeat of the Netherbrain. Unless…? Nah, they’re surely dead

-The Shadow Curse was lifted thanks to the actions of the Tadfools and Tav/Durge in the Reithwin region — that region is undergoing a long recovery, and will be for some time
