Years went on, and stories were told around the campfire that put terror into the other campers. Some might believe it, some might think it's just storytelling, but still nobody goes into the lake on the night of August 10th. You see, the stories will tell you that the one who does, becomes possessed by the spirit of the drowned boy coming to take his revenge. It's an unwritten rule everyone simply follows, whether they believe in the ghost stories or not.

As nations struggled to adapt, the great clans expanded their influence through private sorcerer contracts and public outreach. The truth of Tengen’s death was concealed by the higher-ups, known only to those present that day.
