* THE BEGINNING . . . *
After centuries of tales of five clans in the forest, two cats named Trout and Briar gathered their two opposing groups into the territories of the river bends and promised a new start, a new home, a future⦠to be like the cats in those stories. They named their clans after themselves, dawning new names and nine lives, now as Troutstar and Briarstar.
Troutstar was a large mousy brown tom, with the swiftness of a trout swimming in the ocean, with eyes like the skies and claws that could kill those who even looked. Briarstar on the other hand, was a lanky ebony colored she-cat with sharp eyes as dark as a foxes heart, able to hide in her territories murky waters and attack you when you least expected it. The two cats used to be good friends, more than friends.. but their egos got the best of them, as any empire does.
Troutstar and Briarstar would make sure the two clans would never cross paths, only at gatherings, the only time they were civil, but moons and moons after they were gone, the hostile terms still remained.. And now, as the harshness of the world outside of the clans rises, war is brewing⦠and which cats will survive the rivers thorns?

> Eyes watched them from the water, lurking. They had called themselves the Isle of the Shore, and they owned this island. SkullClan did not care, MushroomClan was worried. They went their own ways, and the Isle was furious. Their land had been taken from them.
( π ) **ISLE OF THE SHORE** β The original colony of the New island, stuck together by their similar adaptations and love for the water. When the new clans came in, they were forced to stay in their wet caves, no longer having their freedom that they once thrived in.
( 𦴠) **SKULLCLAN** β Bound by blood and hostility, this is the clan that believes they are better than all other groups that may form around them. They believe they are deserving of all riches, even if they must push everything aside to get it. Pushing the colony from their home provoked something, and theyβre looking forward to it.
( π ) **MUSHROOMCLAN** β Born of peace and forgiveness, this group of cats can see no wrong in the soul of cats. Second chances are the main focus of their belief, believing even the nastiest of cats can become good if they wish so. They did not want to take over, and theyβre fearful of what can happen next.
