Wavebound

Wavebound is an original setting that takes place mainly in the year 2149, in a future that has Humanity dwindled down to a mere 2.5 million (approx.), and that whole of Humanity has gathered into 1 singular city, not just the last bastion of resistance, but as the greatest example that even in their darkest hours, Humanity finds a way to stand up and push forward, even thrive. Living in peace and focusing on work, the Human City of Urbo has now given rise to an underground urban culture of Proto-Runners (tech using individuals to mimic superpowers for parkour, all while seeking freedom, to break free from the mundane, or to seek something more out of life than just work and survive)... These are their stories. Come join, we have our own wiki (https://wavebound.fandom.com/wiki/Wavebound_Wiki), our own server bot (to manage it), we have crafting systems, we have pseudo-science based "superpowers" that can be tailored by you for your character if you're smart enough on how to play it, and if you're not or just don't want to? There are plenty of pre-made styles to choose from! There is a big but completely ruined world outside of the one city, just waiting to be explored so you can gain the valuable resources you need for crafting... But beware of the robots that decimated Humanity in the past, they still wander the ruined world, ready for a brutal superpowered fight. Can you survive as a Runner? Or maybe you'd rather play as a Tuner, the people who calibrate the Runners and ensure Runners have all the tools and power they need to fight back? Or maybe you'd like to play both?
