For as long as we could remember, our world has never been normal. The greater population had been filled with what could be considered the closest to our own world; simple people with no powers, just their own goals and visions in life. While making up nearly 80% of the population, they were never the ones in control of our history.

Like a fairy tale, people were born with magical gifts, abilities that couldn't be explained with science. They'd quickly flood the streets with their gifts, filling the world with both amazement— and fear. These people would be classified as a new form of human, called: Bound.

Considered by the general public as freaks of nature, Bound individuals would be ostracized, considered lesser than in the constant face of prejudice. However, when an unsightly force called the Untethered begin causing trouble, it became clear that the only people who can stop them were the Bound.

You are the new generation of Bound, joining the first ever school to train for combat against the Untethered. Will you become a great warrior and protect the world despite it's anger? Or will you let the world burn, for everything it's done for you?

Ancient events gave Earth's residents the ability to cast spells and alterations to their very way of life, including physical changes. Watch yourself, however; dark truths lurk every few steps you take, and the richest among Rosemore's residents raise their wine glasses atop mass graves.

Rosemore is an 18+ community with an emphasis on character-building and literacy. In any given scene, writers are expected to write a paragraph **at minimum**, complete with punctuation and standards of grammar. Social channels are compact so as to help lessen overstimulation and better promote a melting pot within "the channel for all". Given the server's status as a 18+ community, writers are free to explore all kinks as it falls under the artistic expression laws.

As a setting, Rosemore aims for the "modern fantasy" feel. You can use elves, fairies, tieflings, centaurs, etc. as a faceclaim and tailor the character to how it all comes together within the setting. The server's combat system, much like the limits of magic, is built on balance and quick rounds rather than powergaming or needing to read pages of rules.

2 thousand years ago, a war between heaven and hell broke out, and the aftermath left the earth devastated and unlivable. Humanity was decimated by 95% and they eventually found solace in the underground caves.

Now in present time, the kingdom is ruled by royalty, with 7 heirs to the throne. Portals are opening all over the kingdom, bringing people from other worlds, and not letting anyone leave.

How will your story go in this underground kingdom?

This is an 18+ roleplaying community based on the universe of The Walking Dead with the timeline adjusted to begin in 2025.

You can play as your own Original Character or as a TWD Universe Canon Character. Active Play for two-weeks unlocks another character slot if you wish to play multiple characters.

Our game is set in Albany, NY two weeks after the true collapse of the system. Our setting will expand outward as the population of players and characters grow. Enjoy the freedom of starting early in the apocalypse and guiding how things develop from the beginning.

We aim for a "semi-lit" and "literate" roleplaying experience, however as long as everyone is enjoying themselves this is not strictly enforced.

Humanity rebuilt with time. And though the Pantheon remained silent, new Incarnates emerged, carrying the distant memories of their predecessors. With these new Incarnates to aid them, human empires rose, new regions flourished, and for centuries, peace endured.

The future is cruel, and cold. Hope is a foul word, mercy an unforgiveable sin. Understanding, science, and toleration are forgotten concepts, for hatred is the fuel of the righteous, and wroth is the burning torch against the closing enemies. Minds must be closed against the foe, for learning can lead to damnation; comprehension is nought but a sign of treachery.
The Imperium of Man, the largest state in recorded history, lies beset on its every front. Terrible foes weaponise the very foundations of the human psyche against the guttering flame of humanity's plight. Beasts from a realm beyond reality circle in the closing darkness. From within, rebellions and revolutions threaten to topple thousands of years of peace and stability, bought with oceans of blood from willing martyrs and terrified dissidents.
From without the endless tides of xenos, ever wicked and wily, ensure that the Imperium can never marshal its forces against one threat. Now, a great wound parts the Imperium, the fell energies of the Warp have sundered and crippled the already wounded boar that is the Imperium, and the wolves grow ever closer.
Yet the story is not over. New heroes, saints, and warriors rise in the defence of humanity and the Dark Gods, who's thirsting laughter echoed across the galaxy, turn their greedy gazes on one another.

We are a semi-literate to full literate roleplaying server, set now in 000.M42!
Character creation is fairly open here with minimal types of characters barred as we focus on the opportunity to get creative with what you make.
We also allow custom sub factions, like your own homebrewed Chapters, Imperial Guard Regiments, Xenos races, etc.
A focus on plot, with PTK rulings in roleplay between players, however our GM'd events feature RTK.
