A few months before the 7th lord incursion would come to an end, Helianthe would send a colony fleet out to a new island discovered on the fringes of the unknown world to make sure that even if the 7th lord succeeds, the world would still have a chance to be free from their tyranny.

It has been exactly one day after the successful repelling of the 7th incursion. The world is at an uproar as the new hero of hernliorn is discovered to still be someone unexpected, but while that's happening, the colony fleet finally arrives at the unknown island, ready to build a new civilization.

ABOUT ALENTIA'S SANCTUARY...

Alentia’s Sanctuary exists in a world almost entirely similar to modern day Earth. Though magic exists as part of nature and an accepted way of life for most people within the magical community, a population of several hundred million worldwide, the average nonmagical human (or ‘mortal’) finds virtually no deficit in their life for lack of magic.
The Sanctuary exists in a “pocket dimension”, or underground society, away from the public eye. It has been described as being “everywhere and nowhere at once”, and although this is not necessarily true, it is often considered the easiest way to describe it. Within the bounds of the Sanctuary, compasses and GPS systems meant for use outside of the Sanctuary cease to operate as they should, and there is no place on Earth the Sanctuary could possibly exist.

The magical culture within Alentia’s Sanctuary necessitates complete secrecy after the effects of a war centuries past, and those in power within this underground society do their best to keep things under complete wraps. In the last several hundred years in the mortal world, magic has been kept from mortals by way of the community’s Veil, an illusory covering of all magic that exists to hide magic from mortals, altering senses and memories to maintain the status quo of a nonmagical, unexceptional, world, place, and experience.

We offer slice of life and plot-driven roleplays, a friendly, SFW 18+ community open to all, and a space for both seasoned and newer writers!

Echoes in The Rift is a fantasy roleplay server with close knit D&D aspects. The story revolves around what the the players make, allowing for a more free form roleplay with a main story in the background. The server has two roleplay style options. Casual, meant for more chill slice of life stuff. And Adventure, where you mix in questing as well as casual level rp.

This is a new server, and we have a maximum of 10 Kingdoms that we will be accepting into the world. However different Houses and Factions will always be available to make.

We also run a specific Quest experience where anyone can submit a quest and run it, not just a moderator or writer. Giving players more creative freedom to have their own fun without waiting on moderators. Main Scenario Quests will be run by moderators.

The Main Scenario consists of Rifts having been appearing in the world for nearly 83 years, swallowing entire towns and leaving black voids behind in the world. No one knows when, where, or how these appear. They arrive without warning, and rip away the landscape. No one has ever returned from inside of a Rift.

Alongside the Rifts, there is rumors floating around that the gods are fading. Dying. Those believing in them hear less and less each passing day, and miracles become few and far between. Some people claim this is a test from the Gods, while others believe the Rifts have something to do with the fading voices of the divine.

The City of Iltryan is set in a high-fantasy, cyberpunk world, with pages upon pages of lore and world-building. Where magic makes up nearly every aspect of day-to-day life, so too does tech - you’re equally likely to see someone composed more of metal than flesh as you are someone hundreds of years old. Two worlds that one would think are dissimilar in every way, forced into the same setting.

Everything in this world comes with a price. Both the technology and the magic threaten to rip you apart; mentally, and physically. Everything costs far more than you could ever reasonably afford. Gods, Governments, Megacorps, and sometimes all of the above; and none of them care about you. If you aren’t an asset, you’re a liability. Something everyone and everything is keen to remind you of.

Our intention is to focus on every aspect of a world wherein the power balance is absurdly wide. Those high on the rungs have all the money you could ever want or need, or enough magic or raw physical power to topple a country - or sometimes even both. You can cast your lens on a downtrodden punk, someone well past the clouds on that corporate ladder, or a magic-user well on the path to becoming a god (or as far as humanly possible from it).
