This server takes place in a universe/multiverse separate from any specific cannon. Its cannon is its own, though we will be pulling primarily from the films. Personally, I am very interested in exploring a world that functions much like the setting we see in "Logan" with a more grounded feel, though we will likely be pulling character backgrounds and histories from comics, other movies, etc to fill in blanks.

As for the timeline, this rp will be taking place during the beginning of the fall semester of 2015. Keep that in mind when filling out your character sheet, as well as when rping, since the culture and technology will be from about ten years ago.

Set in a time of war, Eudaimonia is a world where the natives of a land filled with magic are fighting for survival. Fighting an uphill battle against the human empire, will you take on the role as an elf to save your kind? Will you choose to be a human reaping the magic from the land? Or perhaps a pirate on the dangerous seas found near the Elven coast? Maybe you'll choose a neutral fae beast that terrorizes the land.

We are a roleplay community that supports the building of your own creative story in the overarching world we have established. Eudaimonia has nine playable species, including the use of hybrids. Meaning, if you don't like your options, you may mix them up based on the given information. Each species has a history unto itself weaving texture into the world that you can freely dig your feet into. Magic is not abundant, but it can be wielded. Apex takes place in a universe where mortals and gods attempt to co-exist. Following a tragic event involving a rogue God, the "Convergence", a group of deities that were collectively put in charge of maintaining peace throughout the universe, created the "Cardinals", a race of artificial demigods tasked with the completion of missions across the universe to maintain solace.

In Apex, Cardinals reside in "The Axiom Crypt", a grand Celestial hub for Cardinals (and their Godly sponsors, known as Benefactors) who have passed their year-long training course and are on permanent standby for missions that require their attention.

Apex was made for a big purpose - to be expanded into an animated series that focuses on loss, change, and everyday problems in a grand setting. By making a character in Apex, you're creating a chance for your storytelling to be presented and pitched to producers and networks across the world (with consent, of course.) Now, it's not guaranteed that what you write will make it into the story, but all ideas will be equally considered, and if approved, you will receive credit for them, if not more.
