50 years ago, heroes arose as individuals gained abilities beyond human limits. It started with a 7-member hero team led by the great Apex, a man of incredible power and role model to all. However, as they aged, and some died, politics and corporatism infested heroism, transforming heroism into something lacking emotion rather than genuine actions. This was known as The Whiplash. Apex publicly spoke out against this devolving of heroism, but his words fell on deaf ears.Today, heroism is a regulated system requiring licenses. Vigilantes are considered near as bad as villains and are actively hunted. Schools and agencies push their own independent agendas to benefit themselves, and the hero world is split into two major factions:
The Legacy League: The prestigious and corporate descendant of Apex's original team. They control a smaller, highly influential group of heroes who make more money. They even cover accidental damages via paid insurance.
The International Heroes Group: A government-approved and UN funded public organization. They hold a large percentage of heroes and are very regulatory, but pay decently if you follow their strict guidelines. They are highly popular among street tier heroes.
As of right now, heroism is highly split between vigilantes, organized groups, and registered independents.

An uneasy peace has settled over the lands of Westeros. As King, Maegor Targaryen remains surrounded, facing challenges both within from his nephew Aegon the Uncrowned and without from the High Septon’s many pious followers who grow emboldened with the death of the dragons.

Although the Great Houses of Westeros still swear fealty to King Maegor, loyalties shift outside his watch. Maegor may count upon the Riverlands, who wish not for their rivers to run red, and the Vale may remember how Maegor defeated the kinslayer’s rebellion, but in the Reach the Faith grows stronger. It is unclear if House Tyrell can hold onto Highgarden against those who covet it.

The North and Iron Islands remain as isolated, both in a position wait out the fires of war or revel in chaos while the West and Stormlands may also break away for their own personal interests, avoiding a great war lest the Dornish or the Ironborn take advantage.

Beyond it all, Dorne stands strong, unbent and unbroken. It has the opportunity to take advantage of the chaos and watch the dragon fall, but if they overextend themselves they could be at the mercy of a greater evil.

Despite having been built in Fire and Blood, the realm seems to teeter on the precipice of chaos.

From the ruins, the Hazbin Hotel was rebuilt, offering sinners a chance at redemption.

But now, something new has begun.

An exorcist attacks her own, screaming of demons.
A hallucinating sinner collapses in the street.
Both cough up the same black, writhing parasite.

Two realms. One horror.
Each blames the other.
But no one knows the truth.

And it's continuing to spread.

A long time ago, three clans lived amongst each other in peace. HorizonClan, DuskClan and EclipseClan.

All was fine until the leader of EclipseClan asked for help, and the other clans denied him. He was enraged and attacked DuskClan, but was quickly pulled off. The gathering ended there, but the tensions rose like an incoming storm.
And when the rain came, not everycat seemed to make it.

Around two weeks after the gathering, rain poured onto the clans. So much rain, it didn't stop. HorizonClans and DuskClans territories were destroyed, many cats died from the rising water.

The few survivors of HorizonClan fled far away, led by a brave she-cat, SunriseShard. With no high ranks, SunriseShard was the closest to a leader they had. They wandered for two weeks before settling down and then, when they were save, was SunriseShard granted her nine lives by StarClan, giving her the new name of SunriseStar.

DuskClan wasn't as lucky, without high ranks, the surviving cats were confused and scared. A young warrior called Solstice took it upon herself to save her clan.. or what was left of it. With the young tom Soulpaw and many other cats, the clan was salvaged and led to safety. The survivors agreed that Solstice should be known as SolsticeStar, and StarClan agreed, granting her nine lives. She chose Soulpaw, now SoulTooth, as her deputy and renamed DuskClan to TwilightClan, bringing hope.

Massive waves had crashed against the mountains, wiping out almost all of EclipseClan.
Sadly, only few of them survived, those who did never managed to save their clan and fell apart, leaving EclipseClan as a story of sadness, told by the elders of HorizonClan and TwilightClan.

Two years after, trouble is back in the air...

WHISPERS BEYOND THE TREES is a long-term, 18+ wolf roleplay built on psychological horror and religious ambiguity. Once there was one pack. Then came hunger, sickness, and the iron teeth of Twolegs, and the pack split into four: Greyspire (mountain), Mistmoor (swamp), Thistlehide (forest), and Silverrush (river). For generations they have watched each other from afar, trading whispers, blood, and silence for survival.

Now the moon rises bruised and bitten. Star-speech rides the wind. Silverrush runs warm and the fish go belly-up in the shallows. In Mistmoor, the Drown-Sick wait for a chewing sound in the belly that never comes. At the borders, forest-cat warriors prowl the scent-lines, and something ancient sleeps beneath the timbers of an old paper mill. The packs are afraid. The packs are hungry. And the Maw has not fed in a very, very long time.

This is Book One: The Blinking, a slow-burn plot told in twelve phases across three acts, advancing on RP, not the calendar. Player choices carry real consequences for pack standing, territory, and the slowly cracking faith every wolf shares in the Maw.

We offer personal character channels and pack dens, wolf-cat border diplomacy on Warrior Cats lake territory, NPCs and adoptables, D&D-style mechanical depth, and 24/7 text RP supported by a custom Discord bot tracking hunger, disease, bonds, combat, and legacy across generations of wolves.

Open roles across all four packs: alphas, advisors, diplomats, medics, hunters, scouts, guards, foragers, caretakers, elders, and apprentices, plus pups, juveniles, loners, rogues, and Twolegs or forest cats, etc for those who want to play something other than wolf.

Mature themes (cannibalism, etc), character death, and slow-burn horror are part of the story we are telling. Mod applications are open!

Herald city. A dank dark decrepit destination dwindling in denizens and dreams.

Whilst its population is low, its activity is quite high. Found on the western end of pangea its a mix of both culture and depravity. Filled with corruption. Gangs. Its own mafia and a vast array of different peoples.

After the golden era of earth. It has devolved from a techno scifi world of easy space travel and peaceful cities. To a hodgepodge of different species and cultures just trying to survive after the natural collapse of the universal unity.

The worlds tech level being a mix of high scifi technology and 1980's noire movies. The world is filled with the good. The bad and the ugly.

With the genetics of so many species mixing. It was natural some mutations would arise. Abilities. Powers as most poeple call them. Anomalies as science would call them.

Some mutants chose to don the mask of hero. Whilst others chose to persue less honest ventures. Fighting to keep the city standing.
