While the students of the academy are prim, proper, and lovely in all things; the employees tend to be anything but. Explore the lives and interactions of the girls of Cafe Liebe as they navigate their lives, inside and outside the Cafe.

We are a Semi-Literate+ roleplay server inspired by the manga "Yuri is My Job", with our own twist and expansions on the setting of the manga as a whole. Whispering Hollows is an 18+ roleplay community based in supernatural fiction and the modern times. Available is thematic writing and thought-provoking narratives, taking real-world concepts and implementing them in ways that makes our fictional-world feel immersive and more engaging, perhaps even a little ‘lived in’ already. Welcomed are any writers, whether they are preferring story with many layers of meaning or more casual.

The supernatural are something that not many people can percept, except those special few that have a connection to the spiritual realm. Your character may be one of them, likely having noticed a spirit before they received a letter. Ancient events gave Earth's residents the ability to cast spells and alterations to their very way of life, including physical changes. Watch yourself, however; dark truths lurk every few steps you take, and the richest among Rosemore's residents raise their wine glasses atop mass graves.

Rosemore is an 18+ community with an emphasis on character-building and literacy. In any given scene, writers are expected to write a paragraph **at minimum**, complete with punctuation and standards of grammar. Social channels are compact so as to help lessen overstimulation and better promote a melting pot within "the channel for all". Given the server's status as a 18+ community, writers are free to explore all kinks as it falls under the artistic expression laws.

As a setting, Rosemore aims for the "modern fantasy" feel. You can use elves, fairies, tieflings, centaurs, etc. as a faceclaim and tailor the character to how it all comes together within the setting. The server's combat system, much like the limits of magic, is built on balance and quick rounds rather than powergaming or needing to read pages of rules.

Though the gods vanished in the struggle, the Cultivation was stopped. Earth, however, was not spared. Moments before the Cultivation's arrival, the Great Wave of Marimbus shattered the world. It drowned entire continents, wiped away civilizations, and pushed humanity to the brink of extinction. The Chimera, the first Incarnates and the chosen warriors of the gods, were wiped from history. Their home, the island of Solace, vanished not long after.

Humanity rebuilt with time. And though the Pantheon remained silent, new Incarnates emerged, carrying the distant memories of their predecessors. With these new Incarnates to aid them, human empires rose, new regions flourished, and for centuries, peace endured.

But now, something stirs once more. Incarnates are disappearing. The world itself feels unsettled. And in the fabric of space and time, something has awakened.

In the city of New Riviera, crime runs rampant. It’s not due to any fault of the local authorities, but the fault of the criminals themselves. A group who call themselves “The Crew” use the city as their playground, tormenting those whom they see as deserving of punishment. And despite the best efforts of the city’s officials, none of these criminals ever stay down when they’re… disposed of. They always come crawling back from the dead a few days later, no worse for wear, save for a red mark on their skin from whatever killed them last.

These people are called Undyings by most. Stories of them span back for centuries, but the awe and honor they once commanded has dwindled. Many view them as being natural born criminals, despite evidence largely pointing to the contrary. But it has made a simple life rather difficult for anyone who finds themselves to be among the numbers of Undyings.

But even The Crew themselves seem to be doing something to shake off this stereotype. They seem to have a specific sort of target when it comes to what they do. Most of their crimes are carried out against those who are arguably deserving of punishment. And the reports of Crew members protecting innocents or rescuing people from harm are surprisingly abundant.

And yet, a rival group has cropped up. "The Symphony" is raising hell, leaving a bloody trail in their wake. Desperate times are calling for desperate measures, and unlikely team-ups seem to be the best way to survive.

Now, of course, it is up to you to decide. Who is truly in the right here? And which side will you pick?
