❄️ Tempered Power: IL is a fantasy RP that doesn't quickly become a super hero RP. Each player character is relatively grounded to inspire collaboration with others both IC and OOC. No one here will be playing cosmic time traveling furry demon gods, our magic is akin to Fire Emblem or what you might otherwise find in a standard RPG.

Across the stars, six different worlds rotate in their own galaxy systems, shaped by their harsh truths, wonders, and lies. Alone, these worlds are strange and wondrous. Together, they are bound by a lattice of alien wormhole gates, known as The Nexus; ancient, unpredictable, and barely understood. The Imperium of Man, the largest state in recorded history, lies beset on its every front. Terrible foes weaponise the very foundations of the human psyche against the guttering flame of humanity's plight. Beasts from a realm beyond reality circle in the closing darkness. From within, rebellions and revolutions threaten to topple thousands of years of peace and stability, bought with oceans of blood from willing martyrs and terrified dissidents.
From without the endless tides of xenos, ever wicked and wily, ensure that the Imperium can never marshal its forces against one threat. Now, a great wound parts the Imperium, the fell energies of the Warp have sundered and crippled the already wounded boar that is the Imperium, and the wolves grow ever closer.
Yet the story is not over. New heroes, saints, and warriors rise in the defence of humanity and the Dark Gods, who's thirsting laughter echoed across the galaxy, turn their greedy gazes on one another.

Character creation is fairly open here with minimal types of characters barred as we focus on the opportunity to get creative with what you make.
We also allow custom sub factions, like your own homebrewed Chapters, Imperial Guard Regiments, Xenos races, etc.
A focus on plot, with PTK rulings in roleplay between players, however our GM'd events feature RTK.
